Research in Kiel
Kiel is excellent! – There is a number of renowned institutions in Schleswig-Holstein’s regional capital which stand out due to their high-class research. Their work shows that research is of great importance for our society.
The main focus is put on the fields of marine and geosciences, medical sciences, nano sciences as well as economic sciences. Here, the interconnection of all facilities and the interdisciplinarity of all topics does not only demonstrate international significance but it also shows that Kiel’s scientific landscape is excellent.
